“FLOWON” offers Gate Valve which are highly efficient, easy to install, minimum Wear & Tear and with Minor Pressure losses when operated fully. Gate Valve is Kind of ON-OFF Valve which is operated either in FULLY Open or Fully CLOSE state. The main component of Gate Valve is wedge (guided by stem), slides in linear motion to start and stop the flow. The shear force exerted between wedge and seat ring creates wear and tear over a period of time. The sliding of wedge against the metal seat ring creates friction which becomes a serious issue in high pressure. Therefore, a by pass arrangement is provided along with small valve to reduce pressure before operating main valve.

Gate Valves are classified based on following points:

  • Type of Body-Bonnet Connection: – Union Bonnet, Bolted Bonnet, Welded Bonnet and Pressure seal Bonnet.
  • Stem Orientation: – Rising Stem and Non-rising stem.
  • Types of Wedge: – Solid Wedge, Flexible Wedge, Split Wedge.

KEY FEATURES OF ‘FLOWON’ GATE VALVE
  • “FLOWON” Gate Valve are Equipped with Flexible wedge to compensate the thermal deformation produced by the pipe.
  • The Gland Packing provided by us is Graphited lubricated non asbestos impregnated with sacrificial Inconel wire.
  • The Torque of gate valve is as per standard unlike other manufacturers.
  • Grease Nipple is provided on the top of Bonnet to provide complete Greasing between Handwheel nut and Bonnet.
  • In Carbon steel valve, we provide CA-15 material Wedge as compared to WCB wedge with 13%CR overlay provide by other manufacturers.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • For Vacuum Services, Lantern ring is provided on both sides of gland packing.
  • Bare Shaft valve suitable for Mounting Electrical and Pneumatic Actuator.
  • Extended Bonnet feature is provided for CRYOGENIC application Valves.
